Intel's official data shows that the top mode of Skylake processor is 10% faster than the Cube i7 Core M-4790K processor, 20% faster than the Cube i7 Core M-4770K processor, and 30% faster than the Cube i7 Core M-3770K processor. Though the upgrade magnitude is not too obvious compared with the Gen4 Intel Core M processor. However, if you still use the Gen3 Intel Core M IvyBridge, you can consider the upgrade.
